Sony has stated that the XW7000ES is 30% smaller and 20% lighter than its predecessors with changes to even minor components such as the lenses contributing to a more compact chassis. The New Sony also offers a native resolution demonstrating 3840 x 2160 ensuring you are using all your pixels on a 16:9 screen and experiencing the full potential of the stunning brightness.

The renowned X1 Ultimate Video processor has been optimised for projector applications. This immaculate video processor, featured in the flagship Sony VPL-GTZ380 is now present in the Sony VPL-XW7000ES. This impressive video processor enables the ability for frame by frame HDR mapping.
What do we think?
Our team had the opportunity to visit the Sony HQ on release day. Our first impressions were promising, acknowledging the incredible brightness and new technology, we predict this Sony is going to be a popular home cinema projector with its Laser Light Source. The full-test however will be when we can get our hands on the latest projector and demo in our very own showroom.
