The Stage 280C has an 8" (200mm) Polycellulose cone woofer and 1" (25mm) Aluminum dome tweeter with an acoustic lens waveguide. A visually discrete zero bezel grille and easy installation allow these speakers to be heard and not seen. Elements including baffles with acoustic smoothing and acoustic lens tweeters have been incorporated into the design to ensure that the sound is clear and accurate.

The JBL Stage 280C is a high-performance 2-way in-ceiling loudspeaker engineered to deliver impressive, room-filling sound while remaining discreet in your home environment. Featuring an 8-inch (200 mm) polycellulose cone woofer paired with a 1-inch (25 mm) aluminium dome tweeter and acoustic lens waveguide, the 280C produces clear highs and rich, balanced mid-range with wide dispersion. Its zero-bezel grille offers a sleek, unobtrusive aesthetic that blends perfectly into ceilings.

Rated for 20–120 W RMS amplifier power, the Stage 280C supports dynamic listening for music, movies or multi-room systems. It delivers a broad frequency response of 42 Hz–25 kHz (-6 dB on-axis) and high 90 dB sensitivity, making it easy to drive with most compatible amplifiers. The XL-2 installation system and standard cut-out dimensions simplify integration into ceilings up to 2″ (50 mm) thick.
